Well-seasoned from years on the road at barbecue competitions, Boss Hog’s recently found a home for its award-winning chicken and ribs. The location retains familiarity owing to its fast-food past so the decor is comfortable but less rustic than I expected. The jovial waitress plays along with my excitement as I choose from a comprehensive menu of “gut-bustin’” Southern-styled combination plates.
